Macquarie St

This luxurious and elite city apartment proved to be one of the most challenging jobs for the team to date. The prestigious location of the apartment on Macquarie Street right next to the iconic Sydney Opera House meant that any job here was bound to require excessive consultation with the local authorities.

Three forty-foot shipping containers full of luxurious furniture were received at our Sydney depot after liaising with international exporters. Each item was individually quality checked by our team and inspected by designers before a final plan for delivery was made. It was found that all but three of the items could be delivered to the eleventh-floor apartment through the buildings service elevator. For the three oversized items, a crane was organised to lift the items up to the balcony. This required a strenuous 3-week approval process from the opera house, NSW police and City of Sydney council. Once completed, the oversized items were successfully lifted into the apartment by a 65-tonne crane.

The process required the temporary closure of Macquarie street by police and traffic controllers and our team’s professionalism was vital in maintaining operational efficiency.

It took ten men to carry the items in from the balcony but in the end the team persevered to the delight and admiration of the designer; who was especially appreciative seeing as how slim the chances of approval were.

The Farm

Set on an isolated hill surrounded by lush national park, MLD studios five-bedroom grand estate was always going to be a uniquely challenging job. This sophisticated reclaimed timber house can only be accessed via a 3km dirt road. This meant that no machinery could be transported to the site and the team would need to rely completely on manpower to deliver all of the exquisite items.

Extremely satisfied with the planning of this project. Installers were amazing. My Ateam!

The job was completed promptly and the client was left so satisfied with the team’s efficiency and diligence that they contracted us to continue to deliver items and do other logistical tasks at the site. The team continues to work at the site, mainly to reshuffle the layout and furniture for events that are held there across the year.

Pretty Beach House

Michelle Leslie, one of Australia’s most revered designers, asked us to help bring her vision of an iconic sandstone hotel to life. Nestled on the edge of Bouddi National Park, the award-winning hotel captures incredible views of the nearby pretty beach and encompasses state of the art interiors and world leading use of recycled furniture and carpeting.

Reliable, precise, and lovely to work with. Thank you Ateam Logistics!

This was no ordinary project and required particular attention to detail and care from our team. Particularly when working with several priceless items including original artworks by esteemed Australian artists John Olsen and Sidney Nolan.

The team was required to receive back to back deliveries of furniture at the Sydney depot over an incredibly short time frame. Once again, the team’s professionalism and expertise were on full display as all orders were seamlessly collected, checked and delivered within a single a week. This was no easy task considering the remote location of the site and the limited access to some of the rooms on site. One of the bathtubs – weighing over 800kg – proved particularly difficult to move and required 8 men.

In the end the team was successful in providing exemplary service for the client, who was extremely satisfied and went on to win multiple accolades for the luxury hotel design.

Randwick

Helping to create the ultimate gentleman’s lounge at Randwick Racecourse was no easy task. This award-winning executive suite proved to be a challenging operation for the team. The polished timber, marble and leather antique furnishings required particularly careful and skilful delivery. With some of the elements such as the timber boardroom table weighing in excess of 200kg and costing a fortune.

Thank you Ateam for your excellent and patient service. You guys are magic!

After receiving the shipments from various acclaimed international suppliers at our city depo, conveniently located in close proximity to the racecourse. The team began to unpack and inspect each of the elements individually, working closely with the designers throughout the process. The luxurious nature of the job meant that special preparation was made for the designers to bring in high-profile clients for exhibit and consultation.

Once a delivery date was finalised with Randwick Racecourse the entire team underwent security checks and prepared to deliver and assemble the intricate set up. The entire job was completed in only one day without any hiccups, a testament to our teams’ dedication and experience. Despite difficulties caused by the narrow walkways in the building and the fragility of some of the furniture, the team was able to deliver an extremely satisfying result for the designer and their high-profile client.
